Porcelain
What is porcelain? It's a combination of three materials: kaolin, quartz and feldspar. These materials are ground, mixed and filtered to create cakes that are then transformed into a more or less liquid paste.
Once you've finished shaping it, it's all done.

What are the production steps?
Raw materials
All our customizable handleless cups are made from porcelain: 50% kaolin, 25% quartz and 25% feldspar.
These materials are diluted in water, ground, mixed, sieved and filtered to obtain porcelain cakes which are then transformed into a more or less liquid paste.
Production
All production steps are carried out at Koenitz in Germany:
- Moulding the cup body
- Baking at 1100° C
- Glazing to freeze the product
- Additional firing at 1400°.

What are the customization options?
